Proving the point, world champion biker Marc Marquez didn't let the small matter of his bike dying on track prevent him from securing pole position on the starting grid – even with just three minutes of qualifying remaining.
With his bike chugging to a halt on the home straight, Marquez leapt over the pit wall and sprinted to his second bike, which was handed to him by his pit crew.
With two-and-a-half minutes left in the session as he gets in the saddle, the champion proceeded to drive like a man possessed, slithering around corners and with just one wheel on the Tarmac at times.
