Ford has unveiled new Black and White special editions of its popular Fiesta and Ka hatchbacks.
The monochromatic models are available in a choice of either Panther Black or Frozen White, with each finished with roof and door mirror caps in the contrasting hue. The special editions also wear unique alloy wheels, which are painted black with white inserts.
The interior is similarly specified, with the black seats decked out in Pearl White detailing. Contrasting white stitching is also applied to the black leather steering wheel, floor mats and gear stick gaiter, while elements of the dashboard and door trim are also slathered in white plastic.
Based on high-end Titanium trim, the models are fitted as standard with automatic climate control and 'theatre style' interior lighting, amongst a host of desirable toys. The Fiesta also comes fitted with Ford's SYNC voice-activated infotainment system.
Fiesta buyers will have the choice of three petrol engines, including Ford's 1.0-litre Ecoboost three-cylinder, as well as 1.25- and 1.4-litre four-cylinder units. 1.5- and 1.6-litre TDCi diesel motors are also offered.
"Black and white is a timeless combination that evokes thoughts of chic 1960s style, and now inspires the design of products from consumer electronics to training shoes," said John Mcleod, chief designer for Vehicle Personalisation, Ford of Europe.
"White is a clean, pure, simplistic colour that contrasts perfectly with sophisticated black. We've used that simple combination to deliver distinctive Fiesta and Ka models with a charismatic twist."
