Audi has released a new video, which hints towards the styling of its latest concept car.
Due to be unveiled at the Los Angeles motor show later this month, the sleek, large saloon concept is expected to represent the brand's forthcoming A9, which is destined to become a sportier, coupe-like alternative to the German company's current flagship model, the A8 limousine.
The model will also showcase Audi's future design direction in general, with the brand previously stating that future models will have greater individuality than the current range.
Very little of the car is given away in the video, though the vehicle shares the same dramatic, angular headlights and trapezoidal grille that make Audis instantly recognisable as they sit on your back bumper in the fast lane.
In this clip the brand's new head of design, Marc Lichte, discusses his ambitions for the brand's design direction and gives the a tour of what he considers to be Audi's past highlights.
