Mercedes ropes in some feline assistance for its latest ad

The German marque has enlisted the help of our feline friends to show off the new CLA coupe's impressive aerodynamic efficiency rating.

Mercedes claims the slippery new model boasts a drag-coefficient value of 0.22, making it the world's most aerodynamic efficient car.

The new advert is simply called "Cat" and sees a furry pet moggy snoozing on the bonnet of a new CLA, shortly before being blown up the windscreen, across the roof and back down the rear of the vehicle.

It comes hot off the heels of famous "Dancing Chicken" marketing campaign that saw plump hens 'dancing' around to advertise the benefits of the Mercedes' Magic Body Control suspension system.

The extreme aerodynamic nature of the four-door saloon ensures it returns a greater amount of miles per gallon and improves occupant experience inside the cabin thanks to reduced wind noise.
