Red-faced ghost botherer Derek Acorah has been charged with careless driving after a collision in Southport, Merseyside, on Saturday.
> 63-year-old Acorah, who found fame by walking around darkened rooms, seemingly suffering from violent seizures in Living TV's "Most Haunted" series, crashed into a Ford Ka while behind the wheel of his high powered Nissan GT-R.

Both occupants of the Ford, a 52-year-old woman and 21-year-old man, were taken to hospital with neck injuries. Acorah himself was unharmed.

Despite claiming to be a medium and spiritual psychic, Acorah clearly didn't see this one coming, and was charged under his real name Derek Johnson. He was bailed and is due before Sefton Magistrates' Court on December 30.

He is also charged with failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis, when police attended the scene of the accident on Scarisbrick New Road.
