A prototype version of the upcoming Lamborghini Gallardo replacement - dubbed the Cabrera -has been spied attacking Germany's famous Nurburgring circuit.
A heavily camouflaged model can be seen (and heard) screaming around the circuit while engineers test and tweak areas such as the suspension set-up and engine response on the upcoming model.
Experts believe the new model will feature a naturally-aspirated version of Audi's monstrous 5.2-litre V10 (also found in the R8) that has been fettled by the Italian marque to produce in excess of 600bhp.
The power - channelled through an advanced seven-speed dual clutch transmission - should mean the Cabrera completes the 0-62mph dash in around 3.2 seconds and go on to hit a top speed of 186mph.
Although the video gives us a great insight into how the upcoming model will sound, it doesn't do very much to answer questions as to how it will look.
Insiders believe it will steal design elements from the Aventador and extreme Sesto Elemento model, yet stay true to the 'baby Lamborghini' looks of the original Gallardo.
