British-built car in the running for World Car of the Year 2014

A shortlist for 2014's World Car of the Year (WCOTY) has been drawn up and understandably it is dominated by Japanese, German and American manufacturers – all of which have made huge efforts to create more affordable, fuel efficient and desirable products over the last few years.
