It's Quadzilla! Meet the 250bhp Ferrari-engined Wazuma V8F

It's not quite a car, not quite a bike, nor is it your run-of-the-mill quadricycle. This is the Wazuma V8F – a custom-made monster that can hit 150mph thanks to its Ferrari derived engine.

The crazy creation is the work of French automotive company Lazareth, a marque that specialises in show stopping vehicles that are custom made to order and designed to impress.

Its latest creation, the oddly-named Wazuma V8F matte black edition, blurs the lines between car and bike by fusing a 3-litre V8 Ferrari engine that produces 250bhp with the six-speed sequential gearbox from a BMW M3.

The supercar performance is wrapped up in a menacing package that looks like a cross between the Batbike and an everyday quad. The rider sits perched atop a thin bench and leans forward to grab the wide bars that house all of the machine's main controls.

Power is sent to massive 18-inch Momo wheels that are shod in 315/30 ZR18 tires at the front and 285/30 ZR18 rubbers for the rear axle. Potential customers also get peace of mind in the form of over-sized brake discs that use Brembo calipers for increased stopping power.

Large brakes are certainly needed as the ferocious machine is said to boast a top speed of 150mph and acceleration figures that would give many modern supercars a run for their money.

It achieves such breath-taking performance figures thanks to its impressive power-to-weight ratio. It weighs in at just 650kg but the Ferrari V8 has also been treated to the fuel injection system from not one but two sports bike engines.

Expect to pay around £150,000 for this manic machine.
