The images below provide the clearest insight into how Porsche's upcoming baby SUV will look when it finally hits forecourts next year.
Set to stun crowds at the LA Auto Show next month, the Porsche Macan borrows styling elements from the larger Cayenne and sportier Cayman models.
But unlike its bigger brother, it will sup less fuel, take up less space in supermarket car parks yet still offer a thrilling drive both on and off road.
The latest set of images cropped up on Porsche's official Facebook page, teasing the car buying public further with the most stylistically revealing images to date.
We can clearly see that the Macan's front end errs on the aggressive side, incorporating a large gaping grille and open cooling vents that filter air to the front brakes.
The sloping roofline adds a big dollop of raciness into the styling mix and the LED headlights keep it looking fresh and modern.
Unfortunately, the engine line-up remains unconfirmed but expect a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 and a twin-turbo 3.6-litre V6 that develops 395 bhp.
Also on the cards is an entry-level engine and possibly a 3.0-liter V6 diesel with 254 bhp. Expect a mid-level Macan to cost around £32,000 with prices rising depending on potency of engines and the rate at which the options list is plundered.
