Audi's best-selling sports car is to receive a limited edition makeover to celebrate selling 500,000 examples worldwide.
Only 500 TTS limited editions will be produced and just 120 of those will make their way to these shores but interested customers can look forward to a number of bespoke touches.
The Coupe, priced from £38,806, boasts £5,665 worth of styling equipment and upgrades over the standard TTS models and some of these features include: a bespoke Nimbus grey colour scheme, larger alloy wheels and an in-your-face rear wing.
The usual TTS bodykit, sports suspension and quad tailpipes are carried over, as well as Audi's magnetic ride damper control and xenon headlights.
A roadster version will also be available that comes in a striking Imola yellow paintjob. Both variants use the same 268bhp 2.0-litre TFSI that is found in the TTS.
The powerplant is linked to either a six-speed manual or six-speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission. Performance figures remain exactly the same, the twin-clutch auto box nailing 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds and onto a limited top speed of 155mph, returning an official claimed fuel economy of 36.7mpg.
"Both also feature a fixed rear spoiler in the style of the flagship TT RS, and an upgrade from the standard TTS 18-inch five parallel spoke design alloy wheel to a 19-inch five-arm rotor design."
Whether or not a bespoke paintjob, larger alloy wheels and a big rear wing are worth the £2,815 premium over the standard TTS is totally up to you.
