Chelsea ace Samuel Eto'o reveals his supercar obsession

The Cameroon international and recent addition to the Chelsea squad has revealed to The Sun the extent of his passion for extremely rare and very expensive supercars.

Eto'o recently made the move to south London from Russia's Anzhi Makhachkala club where he was one of the world's highest paid players, earning just shy of £17 million per season.

The striker reportedly took a sizeable pay cut to play in the Premier League but that didn't stop him shipping over his collection of stunning cars.

A Bugatti Veyron and an Aston Martin One-77 were delivered to the Chelsea training ground recently, to join his Maybach Xenatec Coupe and his Aston Martin V12 Zagato.

The Xenatec is a particularly special edition to the player's burgeoning collection as only a handful were ever made and sold, while the Aston Martin One-77 famously sports a pricetag of at least £1.25 million.

The petrolhead has previously be seen driving around in a variety of fancy motors, including Arnie's favourite runaround, the Hummer H2, a Ferrari 599 Fiorano and an impressive Gemballa Mirage – a Porsche Carrera GT-based model that produced in excess of 800bhp.

Eto'o told The Sun: "My passion is cars. I like to see them, change them and drive them. When I am down, I get in one of my cars and it lifts me.

"I like to have a few cars because it gives me choice and it doesn't hurt anybody. To give happiness the first thing is to be happy oneself, and I am."

It's no wonder the Chelsea striker is happy, he reportedly earns £5 million a year at his current club and sports a collection of rare and wonderful cars that are worth around £4 million.
