The Italian supercar brand hasn't exactly got the greatest reputation for producing cars that don't spontaneously combust on street corners.
One only has to type the words "Ferrari" and "fire" into Google to be presented with images of 458 Italias, 599s and F430s slowly cooking beneath a blanket of flames emanating from the engine bays of the exotic models.
The latest in a growing list of flaming Fezzas is this unfortunate F430 that caught fire in a Hooters car park in Boca Raton, Florida as the owner was out shopping.
A Hooters waitress noticed a small flame coming from the rear of the car according to witness Robert Hobson who captured the molten hot scene on camera.
Mr Hobson told WPTV news: "I was told the car had been sitting for roughly 15 minutes before a waitress noticed a small flame coming from the rear of the car.
"I never found out what started the blaze but the owner didn't look too concerned, in fact he was almost laughing at the situation!" added Hobson.
Mike Gergora, a spokesperson for Boca Raton Fire Rescue confirmed that a red Ferrari had burst into flames, "in the parking lot across from Hooters Restaurant."
