Honda's upcoming supercar will break cover and turn a wheel in anger for the very first time at an Indy 200 IndyCar Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, United States.
The car is not due to be launched until 2015 but to celebrate the fact that it will be built at the newly established Performance Manufacturing Centre in nearby Marysville, the car will lap the circuit and entertain crowds of IndyCar fans.
Honda's latest NSX concept combines lightweight materials and a powerful, mid-mounted V6 engine. It's all pumped through an innovative all-wheel-drive system, the first to appear on a Honda sports car.
A tweaked version of the NSX concept was shown at this year's Detroit motor show and featured razor-sharp creases, futuristic light clusters and awesome turbine alloy wheels.
It is rumoured the NSX could pump out around 400bhp from its mighty V6 engine with help from the hybrid electric motors.
Honda recently opened the order books for the NSX in the UK with Honda recording serious interest ever since the car first went on display at the Geneva motor show back in 2012.
