Lone vehicle stands defiant as car park is demolished around it

In a scene reminiscent of one found a post apocalyptic horror film, a solitary car sits unloved but unscathed as piles of rubble lay scattered around it.

But these aren't screen grabs from Roland Emmerich's latest movie, the pictures actually hail from Taiyuan, northern China, where an enormous car park was being demolished to make room for re-development.
