News surfaced last week that the Dubai police force added a 690bhp Lamborghini Aventador to its fleet of crime-busting vehicles.
Now, the head of Dubai Police has revealed via Twitter that a Ferrari FF will be the latest addition to the exotic array of cars, saying: "Soon Ferrari will join #Dubai_Police fleet."
> He later told 7DAYSinDUbai.com that Dubai was, "a unique city which has its own unique character and everything in it must express this unique character, including police patrols."
The 650bhp Ferrari is the first from Maranello to boast four-wheel-drive and its unique Gran Tourer design enables it to cover massive distances in sheer luxury and comfort.
The monster 6.2-litre V12 engine can propel the sleek machine to 62mph from a standstill in just 3.7 seconds and go on to a top speed of 208mph – perfect for catching those high-speed crims in high-powered supercars.
Ferrari's FF might not be as ferocious as the Dubai police force's Lamborghini Aventador but the swathes of leather and interior TVs for rear occupants will ensure offenders will at least enjoy the ride back to the police station.
