What is the Lyonheart? According to its makers, the Lyonheart K is a British sports car, inspired by the Jaguar E-type, but with modern technology and performance.
Available in coupe or convertible form, the exclusive Lyonheart K has performance far exceeding its nostalgic looks thanks to a Cosworth developed V8.
The Coventry based car maker is planning a 250 unit run for the retro sports car, and will charge over £300,000 for each one.
The E-type mimicking Lyonheart has the same proportions and a similar grill to the iconic Jaguar, and even goes as far as having wire wheels in its efforts to evoke the past.
But underneath the unashamedly 60's styling the Lyonheart is far more modern.
The chassis is made from aluminium and the suspension uses adaptive electronic dampers – like a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. The power steering varies its assistance according to the speed you are travelling at and Lyonheart claim a combined fuel economy figure of 23.7mpg.
But the really interesting bits are underneath the bonnet, as the Lyonheart features a supercharged 5.0-litre V8, modified by Cosworth, developing 567bhp.
The interior is just as luxurious as the graceful exterior suggests. Leather and wood is used extensively throughout, and electric seats, climate control, and a touchscreen Bowers and Wilkins stereo come as standard.
Prices for the Lyonheart K coupe start at £307,000, with the convertible priced at £320,000.
