Citroen have announced a mid-life update of the firm's supermini MPV, the stylish C3 Picasso.
A number of tweaks have been announced ahead of the new year, including revisions to the interior and exterior, new optional extras and a slight power upgrade.
From the outside, the latest C3 Picasso can be identified thanks to a new front bumper which includes LED daytime running lights on VTR+ and Exclusive models. The manufacturer's latest chevron badge is now also present and the option of two new colours – Ink Blue or Pearlescent White – has been added.
Inside, two new seat trims have been added, including optional full black leather for Exclusive models. Also, the optional sat-nav system now has additional features as standard and can now be specified with a reversing camera and parking sensors.
The popular HDi 110 engine has had a power upgrade as well, going from 110hp to 113hp and being renamed the HDi 115 in the process. The slight power increase has had no effect on the fuel economy or emissions on models specified with the updated engine.
The C3 Picasso is noted for its stylish, fun looks, practicality and low running costs and these latest tweaks will ensure the small MPV remains competitive against new models such as the Ford B-Max.
