Alfa Romeo has added more incentives to the relatively slow-selling Giulietta range.
Prospective buyers of the 5-door Alfa Giulietta are being offered an additional £500 trade-in allowance over and above the CAP or Glass's Guide trade-in valuation on their old car this June.
The part-exchange*'top-up' – part of the Italian brand's 'Test Ours Trade Yours' campaign - is available on the Alfa Giulietta 1.4 TB 120 bhp Lusso model until 30 June 2012. This is available at £299 deposit with monthly payments of £299. Other incentives include
• 3 years/30,000 miles free servicing
• 3 years unlimited mileage warranty
• 3 years AA roadside assistance
• 3 years paintwork warranty
• 8 year anti-perforation warranty
The Giulietta Lusso comes with the rear parking sensors, cruise control, dual zone automatic climate control, and USB & Bluetooth.
Sales of the Giulietta were down by 40% in the first four months of this year, so Alfa is clearly keen to try and boost demand. The big problem for Alfa has always been to find customers new to the marque: Alfa customers can sometimes be persuaded to buy another one, but the rest of the market tends to be very wary. Hence Alfa is keen to encourage trade-ins from other manufacturers.
