Personalised number plates are a bit of an opinion divider. People either love them or despise them. It's understandable – they can be utterly horrid on the wrong car.
Still, the DVLA has announced it'll be auctioning a fresh batch of private plates on February 1st at the Stratford Manor Hotel near Stratford-upon-Avon.
A few of the 1,500 plates have been revealed and we've got the best.
For fast food store staff or general fatties the plate CH11 PPY might go down well (reserve: £1,500). If you find the vapid, manipulated lives of a group of Essex-based person impersonators interesting enough to display it on your Corsa you might want to bid on TOW 111E (reserve: £400).
Arrogant people driving 2.0-litre Audi TTs might be keen to show off with YOU 105T while they smoke old ladies at the lights (reserve: £400).
Proud parents can go for H15 DAD and H15 MUM and display how wonderful their child is via the medium of yellow and white plastic (reserve: £900 a piece).
We also liked this plate, perfect for a fishmonger: SA11MON (reserve: £3,000).
Jody Davies, DVLA Personalised Registrations' Events Manager, said: "We always manage to come up with an incredible array of personalised registrations to suit all tastes and, with reserves starting from as little as £250, this auction is no exception."
