NSFW: Underappreciated Benz is unlikely rap star

Now we here at Autoblog can understand Prince being influenced by American sports cars in the single "little red Corvette" and The Who singing about the iconic British sports car brand in their 1967 track "Jaguar".

But a rap song inspired by an iconic, if slightly dull 80's Mercedes saloon is a surprise.

Well, that's exactly what Norwegian rappers Jan Emil Wathne and Ivar Kjetland have laid down for the Mercedes 190.

"The mighty 190" as the track is called, is basically a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the three-pointed star's tough, reliable and soon to be classic, small 80s saloon. It was replaced by the first C-Class in 1993.
