Superchips, the second best maker of amazing chips behind Burger King, has turned the attention of its super duper tuning computer to the Fiat 500 Abarth.
The UK-based chipping company has unleashed an extra 22bhp and 34lb ft from the 500 Abarth's 1.4-litre T-Jet turbo engine.
The result is a 500 Abarth with 155bhp, 186lb ft and, says Superchips, much improved throttle response and in-gear acceleration.
Unfortunately the company doesn't back up those claims with hard statistics, but we guess that the standard car's 7.9-second 0-62mph sprint has dropped below seven seconds.
And as is usually the case with a Superchips conversion, there's no drop in fuel economy, which remains at 43.4mpg.
The Abarth's Superchip costs £455 including fitting, and comes with a 12-month, 30,000-mile supplementary warranty.
So, speed and peace of mind – as delicious a combo as an XL Bacon Double Cheeseburger and King Fries.
