Winter is coming. The days are getting shorter, the temperature is dropping and nipping out of the office for a smoke is no longer an excuse to top up your tan. It's torture. It also means that snow isn't far away, and we all know that means the entire country will stop in its tracks. Especially if you've got a silly rear-wheel drive car.

You see, the snow isn't good for two-wheel drive cars, because there's less traction on offer. This is why SUV owners have a little smug look on their faces for a few days every year. But in this case the smugness is entirely justified – the stuck BMW can do nothing but spin its wheels and watch a Jeep steam on by.
