Bangkok car owners avoid floods by parking on motorways

We've heard of motorways doing a good impression of a car park, but this is ridiculous.

With some 88 areas of eastern Bangkok submerged due to heavy rainfall and overflowing water, motorists are going to extreme lengths to save their cars.
