Chevrolet celebrates its centenary with a one-off special edition Cruze

Chevrolet pulled the wraps off a very special one-off model of its Cruze, at London's famous Ace Cafe, which paid tribute to one of America's most iconic movies of all time.

Called the 'Cruzemobile', it's designed to celebrate the American brand's 100th birthday. This car echoes the look of the 'Bluesmobile', made famous in The Blues Brothers, by John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd.
The 'Cruzemobile' is basically a Cruze saloon with a matt black and white paint finish designed to look like an American police car, no wheel trims and a roof-mounted speaker.

But what now for the Cruzemobile? Well, we're not sure. Mark Terry, Chevrolet UK Managing Director said: "We're hoping it'll be popular enough to go on tour itself. But one thing's for sure, and it's that we won't be making it available as an option pack!"
