McQueen's Porsche 911 is an RM Auctions Monterey highlight

Steve McQueen's Porsche 911S, the car that featured in the Hollywood film Le Mans, is a highlight of RM Auctions Monterey sale on August 19 and 20, 2011.

The 1970 car was built to the highest specification and includes air conditioning, it also featured in the opening sequence of the film as McQueen's character, Porsche driver Michael Delaney, drives through the French countryside.
