There are plenty of new cars to look forward to this year, but only a few make it onto our must-drive-before-we-die list. One of those is the twin-turbocharged V8 BMW M5.
The German super saloon may have lost the 10-cylinder titan which powered the previous car, but with 552bhp the new forced cylinder lump delivers even more grunt to the rear wheels.
While its performance is likely to be beyond reproach, we were mildly concerned that the soundtrack might not measure up to its predecessor.
