Top Gear live is stepping up the size of its show this year as it is creating not one, but two indoor race tracks to entertain show goers – one at the Birmingham NEC site and one at the London Excel venue.
The tracks will be part of a Race of Champions style display, which will see famous racing drivers competing at high speeds against each other and the clock.
As well as the inevitable collection of fast and glorious performance cars, it will play host to a selection of famous drivers as well, with Tiff Needell, Sabine Schmitz and five-time Le Mans winner Derek Bell so far confirmed as attending.
There will also be a series of celebrities attempting to set the fastest time possible around the two tracks, with friends of the show such as car fanatic Jamiroquai's Jay Kay the sort of personality expected to rock up on the day.
Needless to say, the show's famous masked racing driver, the Stig, will also be on his way around the track to show everyone how it is done, and as the tracks will incorporate several corners taken from the Top Gear test track at Dunsfold, he will be well placed to do so.
The show will feature the latest exotic metal, such as the McLaren MP4-12C, Lamborghini Aventador and the Ferrari 599 GTO, while there will also be a chance for fans to see a selection of racing cars from rallying and F1 both past and present.
The shows take place in Birmingham from 11-13 November, and in London from 24-27 November.
