There aren't many cars which cause the Autoblog UK office to crowd round one computer monitor in excitement, but AMG's Black Series has become quite the event.
Especially when one leaks ahead of its intended launch, which is exactly what has happened to the Black Series version of Mercedes C63 AMG this week.
Unfortunately for the manufacturer's tuning division someone managed to capture a few stolen snaps of the new car before it's official unveil at the next German Grand Prix.
As with past models, the images show that the coupe is the recipient of the aggressive bodykit and uprated interior that has characterised the exclusive badge.
Performance upgrades are rumoured to include a significant power boost to the standard C63 AMG's 6.2-litre V8 engine, taking it up to as much as 510bhp and 472lb ft of torque.
Expect the car's handling to have been enhanced with the addition of a wider track, modified suspension setup and track-orientated tyres.
The C-Class coupe, which is likely to wear a six-figure price tag, is the latest Mercedes model to receive the Black Series treatment after SLK, CLK and SL versions.
