Video at Geneva: Lamborghini reveals Aventador LP700-4 supercar

The new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 might look like an evolution of the ultra-rare 2007 Reventón, but be in no doubt it's all-new underneath.

Named, after a Spanish fighting bull, highlights include a carbon fibre tub, horizontally mounted pushrod spring and damper suspension inspired by single seater racing cars and an all-new 691bhp V12 engine.

The carbon fibre tub means that despite the four-wheel drive transmission the Aventador LP700-4 weighs just 1575kg. The low weight and powerful engine mean that this Lamborghini can get to 62mph in just 2.9 seconds. The Aventador will cost from £242,280, when it arrives in the UK.
