Geneva motor show: Vauxhall Ampera

The production version of the much-hyped Vauxhall Ampera E-REV has made its debut at Geneva, with the company promising a price of £28,995 when the car goes on sale here early next year.

This figure is adjusted to take account of the government's £5000 electric vehicle subsidy incidentally, a discount that almost certainly won't be available indefinitely.
