Top Gear's James May says it's fair enough to call us racists

Top Gear's James May has waded into the current controversy surrounding the BBC2 show, by saying that he thinks its "fair enough" that the show's presenters have been branded "casual racists".

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and May, who caused a diplomatic row last week with their views on Mexicans, have also been criticised by comic and car fan Steve Coogan.
