Radical sports cars launched their first road car at the Autosport Show last week, the track-focussed SR3 SL.
Radical claim that the SR3 SL is their most advanced sportscar ever, as it's powered by a 300bhp, Ford-RPE (Radical Performance Engines) version of the 2.0-litre EcoBoost engine.
Considering the performance, the fact that this engine is Euro5 compliant is certainly admirable. It's also fitted with twin-independent Variable Cam Timing and state-of-the-art, high pressure Direct Injection.
The engine is mated with a six-speed Formula One-style sequential gearchange with auto-blipper. Along with the fly-by-wire throttle, advanced engine management system, full underbody aerodynamics and light 675kg weight it's the closest thing to a Le Mans car for the road.
The SR3 SL will priced at £67,750.
