New MGs could be sold through Vauxhall dealers

Updated

The former Rover car plant at Longbridge in Birmingham will be building MG cars again from 2011 and its products could be sold in the UK through Vauxhall dealerships.

The discussions, revealed by MG's marketing director in a chat with fans online yesterday, will build on an existing agreement in China which allows Vauxhall parent company GM to sell its cars there via MG owner SAIC's dealer network.
