Pentagon explores flying car concept

The US military is exploring the idea of building a flying car capable of transporting troops across the battlefield on the ground and in the air.

The robust four-wheel drive vehicle would be able to traverse tough terrain in the same manner as a Humvee, but could transform into a helicopter at the flick of a switch.
