The only thing conceptual about BMW's 6 Series concept coupe is the name; what you're looking at is effectively the next 6 Series.
Details of the new car, to be unveiled at the Paris motor show, are scant – BMW hasn't yet given us an idea of the dimensions or even what engine is under the bonnet, but these are expected to be an evolution of what's on the current car.
The styling continues current BMW trends away from the heavy stylistic hand of former chief designer Chris Bangle – the 6 Series concept is sleeker and more rounded than the current 6.
Inside, the car has a full-length glass roof and driver-focused dashboard dominated by a swooping centre console.
The convertible is expected to go on sale next March, and the hardtop version will follow in September.
