Chevrolet could make a hot-hatch version of new Aveo

Chevrolet has revealed the production version of the second generation of the Aveo supermini which is due to make its full debut at the Paris motor show.

The final model is a slightly pared down version of the Aveo RS concept that the company unveiled at Geneva and Detroit earlier this year, but a spokesman has confirmed that a more extreme hot-hatch version may be on the cards, saying "We are doing a lot of stuff we haven't done before."
