Live from the launch: Seat Ibiza Ecomotive

We're in Spain to try the series of new engines being introduced into the Seat range, including an ultra-frugal diesel option for the Ibiza Ecomotive.

The tiny 1.2-litre engine doesn't promise to be the quickest ever, but it's the excellent economy figures that will sell this car.

The Ecomotive will qualify for a free tax disc thanks to a 92g/km CO2 rating, but to get this and the associated 70+mpg you will need to put up with a particularly noisy and low powered engine.
