Video: Loeb caught testing Citroen DS3 WRC

Updated

Just as we're getting to grips with our new Citroen DS3 long termer, video has emerged of Sebastian Loeb testing the new WRC version in France.

Unlike the R3T that Citroen is building for club-level rallying, this is the full-blooded competition car that will battle for international honours in the WRC next year.

By then the DS3 will have a new downsized 1.6-litre turbocharged engine (the manufacturer is thought to be testing with the current 2.0-litre lump in this prototype) and the Citroen race livery to go with the natural good looks it has inherited from the road car.
