The ambitious plans of US F1 fell rather short before the start of this season – the team was officially granted the right to compete in 2010, but it closed down at the beginning of March.
If anyone was holding out hope that the team might rise from the ashes, then it's probably time to give up on that now – the two trailers the team bought from Brawn are now up for sale.
In the final kick to the team's dignity, they are up for sale on the internet auction site eBay, without a reserve.
The two trailers still carry Brawn GP's branding, although the auction listing recommends that these should be removed on collection as it may conflict with copyright or trademark laws.
One of the trailers is designed for the transportation of three single-seater race cars, and the other is kitted out as an engineer's office for up to ten technical staff.
Sadly they are not going to be a bargain piece of memorabilia – at the time of writing the prices are sitting pretty at £22,000 and £30,000. Check them out here and here.
