Naomi Campbell's Lotus raises £320,000 for Haiti

Updated

A celebrity-studded auction room raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for the Haiti earthquake appeal by bidding on three Lotus Evoras with a specially commissioned Naomi Campbell design.

The first went for a staggering £320,000, and was bought by Campbell's boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, who wanted to ensure he got the first of the cars. The second went for not much less at £300,000

A total of eight of the specially commissioned Evoras will be sold by 28 Feb, with the final five being auctioned via the www.naomiforhaiti.com website. Bids are currently around the £70,000 mark, but the organisers will be hoping to get close to the amounts raised by the first three cars by the time the noon deadline on 28 Feb.
