Pictures of the new Audi RS5 have leaked onto the internet ahead of the car's debut at Geneva.
The images were taken from the car's official brochure, and show that, as expected, the RS5 will share many of the visual traits that define Audi's high performance model range, and also feature a retractable rear spoiler.
The interior shots confirm the new car will be the first RS to feature Audi's seven speed dual-clutch S-tronic transmission.
Otherwise, details remain scarce. There is still much speculation about which engine Audi's engineers have shoehorned under the RS5's bonnet, although the smart money appears to be on the 4.2-litre V8 that appeared in the much-adored RS4.
Outside bets have been placed on the 3.0-litre supercharged V6 found in the current S4, and even the 5.0-litre V10 engine from the RS6. The latter does seem decidedly unlikely, but we have found ourselves day-dreaming about the idea.
We'll find out for ourselves when Autoblog decamps to the Geneva show next week. Whatever the answer, the RS5 will go on sale later this year.
