Stefan GP readies itself for Formula One

Updated

Stefan GP is preparing itself for the 2010 Formula One season, despite not having a secure place on the grid.

The Serbian team, which is also made up of some Toyota staff, is pressing ahead with developing its car and is ready to begin testing should either US F1 or Campos be unable to make it to the grid at the Bahrain Grand Prix next month.

However, team owner Zoran Stefanovic has said the team is still searching for a tyre supply deal for its first test. It has already sent some equipment to Bahrain in anticipation of racing at the event.
