Porsche Boxster Spyder on video

Boxster fans set your saliva glands to stunned; Porsche has unveiled a new promotional trailer of its soon-to-go-on-sale Spyder.

The keenly-anticipated range-topper looks predictably good on film, but the Spyder's handsome new body is only half the story. Automotive liposuction means 80kg has been shaved from the Boxster's already pretty lean kerbweight, and power upped to 315bhp thanks to the 3.4-litre flat six engine from the current Cayman S.

Porsche has also completely overhauled the Spyder's suspension setup, with a view to delivering better handling and greater agility than the current Boxster S. Early reports suggest the car is a belter.
