Seat is releasing a diesel hot hatch version of its Ibiza supermini, which will wear the FR badge.
The 2.0-litre TDI FR diesel joins a petrol version and will sit in the range below the Cupra. The 140bhp engine should get to 62mph in just 8.2 seconds and keeps going to a top speed of 130mph, but still manages to be fuel efficient at the same time.
A claimed average fuel consumption of 62.7mpg is joined by a CO2 figure of 119g/km, meaning drivers with hot hatch aspirations can still qualify for a road tax bill of £35.
The Ibiza FR TDI comes in three- and five-door versions and costs from £16,465.
