Aston Martin announces Carbon Black Special Editions

Updated

Aston Martin is launching special edition versions of its range-topping DBS and V12 Vantage models called the Carbon Black.

Both cars get Carbon Black bodywork, which is hand painted and takes 50 hours to apply. They also receive diamond cut alloy wheels with gloss black detailing and a bright finished grille and parking sensors.

Inside, the Carbon Black theme continues with lightweight black leather seats with contrasting silver stitching – hand stitched – piano black trim throughout the cabin and black anodised pedals. The V12 Vantage Carbon Black also benefits from Aston's 700kw premium sound system whilst the DBS boasts the Band & Olufsen Beosound audio system as standard.

Those who order a V12 Vantage Carbon Black will be offered a complimentary place on Aston Martin's performance driving course.

Prices are yet to be confirmed but sources suggest they could start from around £140,000 for the Vantage and £166,000 for the DBS model.
