Worlds fastest SUV breaks 200mph barrier

This is the fastest SUV in the world. Blink, and you might miss it.

It's called the Brabus bi-turbo V12 GLK; a heavily tuned version of Mercedes' large off-roader which will do a whopping 211mph.

Under the bonnet sits a potent 6.3-litre V12 Mercedes engine fitted with a couple of extra turbos to produce a massive 740bhp and almost 1000lb ft torque.

As a result it will sprint to 62mph in 4.2 seconds although a better indicator of its sheer speed is that it will hit 124mph in just over 12 seconds. Scary.

And the big numbers don't end there as the Brabus GLK costs 397,000 Euros or around £360,000. Ouch.
