Carol Vorderman shows off skimpy Welsh flag bikini as she celebrates 'coming home' to Wales

Carol Vorderman couldn't be happier to be back in her homeland of Wales - so she celebrated by showing off her skimpy Welsh flag bikini.

The maths whizz was born in Bedford but brought up in North Wales by her mother who was from Prestatyn, and told fans she had been missing Wales while travel was restricted during lockdown.

But now that former Countdown star Vorderman has been able to pay the Welsh coast a visit, she's busted out one of her favourite bikinis in a very patriotic design.

Sharing a photo of her in the triangle top emblazoned with Welsh dragons on Instagram, she wrote: "Maybe it's time to get this one out now that I'm home #WelshDragon#BikiniRummaging"

Fans commented that she looked "gorgeous" and "stunning", with one suggesting she should get an Only Fans account, while Denise Van Outen wrote: "Ooh sexy minx."

Since she made the trip to Wales, Vorderman has shared some beautiful shots of the coast - including the view from her balcony, and an early morning walk she took along the beach to see the sunrise.

In one post, she wrote: "I grew up next to the sea in Wales and I miss it so much."

Captioning another coastal shot, she added: "Good morning gorgeous peeps from Wales.

"Finally after the lockdown has been lifted slightly, I could come home. I grew up in North Wales and to see the sea and the mountains and the cows and sheep and green green grass (cue @realsirtomjones 😀).....it fills my heart to bursting point."

During lockdown, Vorderman has posted various selfies of her workout gear as she heads out on walks for exercise.

She is currently enjoying beachside walks during her trip to Wales and has written about how much she loves to be up early before the beaches get busy.
