Bebe Rexha has no interest in hearing people criticize her changing body.

The "Meant to Be" singer, 33, took to Twitter on Friday morning to fire off a series of tweets regarding the constant dialogue about her body. Rexha, who has spoken openly about her recent weight gain, expressed a desire to move on from the topic.

“I know I got fat,” the singer tweeted. “I’m just so sick of people talking about it. NEXT!!!!!!”

Rexha's statements received a flurry of response from fans and followers, many of whom praised her for her openness and encouraged her to love herself.

In a follow-up tweet, the singer also noted the diverse reasons that can result in weight gain. Saying "human beings go through weight fluctuations" because "it's life," she wrote that people shouldn't criticize when they aren't familiar with a person's health situation. "Meds, disease, etc," Rexha shared.

This isn't the first time Rexha has spoken about the criticism she's faced regarding her weight fluctuations. In April, she shared on Twitter that she felt "discouraged" after seeing a TikTok search trend about her weight.

"Seeing that search bar is so upsetting," she wrote. "I'm not mad cause it's true. I did gain weight. But it just sucks. Thank you to all the people who love me no matter what."

Rexha has been an open book about her health issues in recent years. In a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Rexha spoke about being diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) which affects as many as 5 million women in the US, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. The condition, a common cause of infertility, can also cause rapid weight gain in patients, per the Mayo Clinic.

“I went to the doctor last year—and a lot of women actually have this and they don’t know about it — but they diagnosed me with PCOS, which is polycystic ovary syndrome,” Rexha told Hudson, Glamour reported. “I literally jumped, like, 30 pounds so quickly, maybe a little bit more. But we gotta just be positive and just show people love."

Rexha isn't the only person to speak openly about their experience with PCOS. Gracie MacGraw, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's daughter, recently shared that she takes a "low dose of Mounjaro" to manage her PCOS.

It's been a challenging few months for Rexha, who was hit in the face with a cell phone during her show at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City on Sunday, June 18. A man in the audience approached the stage, and threw a phone at the singer's head, splitting her brow open, and later claimed he did it to be "funny." After being taken to the hospital, Rexha received stitches over her eyebrow and developed a black eye.

Despite the painful incident, Rexha later took to Instagram and told her fans and followers she was doing well.

"I'm good," the singer wrote, quoting the title of one of her most famous songs while giving a thumbs-up and showing off her injuries with a smile.
