AOL

On AOL UK we appreciate that our readers love to comment on the biggest news, entertainment and sports stories of the day.

Each week, our editors keep an eye out for the most insightful, kind or humorous comments left under our most popular articles.

We then pick one of these comments to award our ‘Comment of the Week’ blue badge.

This week’s winner is Chancery666 who was commenting on the article: Archaeologists find ritual hunt site in Jordanian desert from 7,000 BC

An interesting comment, Chancery! These fascinating ruins do suggest co-operation was used to hunt gazelles more than 9,000 years ago.

The researchers said in a statement that the nearby shrine "sheds an entire new light on the symbolism, artistic expression as well as spiritual culture of these hitherto unknown Neolithic populations." Furthermore, the shrine's proximity to the walls suggest the traps were "the centre of their cultural, economic and even symbolic life in this marginal zone."
