Presenter Amanda Holden got into the spooky spirit of things today with an Addams Family inspired Halloween outfit.

The Heart Radio host teamed up with Jamie Theakston as she dressed up as Morticia Addams while her co-star went as butler Lurch.

Holden, 48, teamed a black, figure-hugging PVC dress with a long black wig alongside a made-up pallid complexion and red lipstick to complete the iconic look.

Meanwhile, Theakston, 48, sported grey make-up on his face, a short black wig and the man-servant's traditional coat and tails.

An Instagram story posted by the star also revealed that Heart’s Ashley Roberts was dressed-up in a black wig and dress as Morticia’s daughter, Wednesday Addams.

Holden returned to the Heart studios this week for the first time since breaking her leg whilst on a family holiday.

She snapped her fibula in two places while playing in the sea with her two daughters, Alexa, 13, and Hollie, seven.

Confirming the news last Monday, she said in a statement: "I suffered a nasty accident while playing in the sea with the family during our half-term holiday and subsequently broke my leg in two places. I had an operation on Friday and a metal plate was fitted."

To help support her leg which has been put in a cast, Holden has been using a scooter to get around the studio.

Meanwhile, she turned up to the Pride of Britain Awards this week alongside Theakston, supporting herself on a pair of red crutches as she walked the red carpet.
